The king bed was firm but comfortable. 1 pillow was like a sand bag, and the other was like a section of sooner in a pillow case. Asked for another pillow and received another sooner like pillow. But it did the job for 1 night. Staff were exceptional and accommodating. The shower covered the toilet floor in water. Great water pressure and a very enjoyable shower, although very cramped. The hand basin was in the living/sleeping area, which was convenient in the morning. Had to ask for a remote for the TV as there wasn't one in the room. Had a good and quiet little bar fridge in the room with a kettle, tea and coffee.

After getting confused and ringing the wrong ibis hotel to organise a late check in and told it would not be necessary as they would be open, we arrived late to the property and found they were closed. I rang the lady quite late and she was so kind and understanding and got us all sorted. The rooms were spotless! And more spacious than I was imagining. Aircon was on ready making the room even more comfortable. Beds were also comfortable. All of which exceeded my expectations, especially with the price. The fridge was useful to hold the lunchboxes for the following day and the bathroom was very clean and spacious.

The rooms were compact and did everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable and we slept well. Room facing the carpark wasn't too noisy and kids slept well. We were there for a sports comp and location was really close to the venue and did everything we needed it to. Staff were lovely and really accommodating and helpful. Will be back!

I only Stayed there for 1 night I only used the facility for sleep as was out most of the day and night and the (budget hotel) met every need. This aint 5 star stay so buyer beware the location is great only 20 min drive to East Newcastle 1 easy main road. Check in and Check out was quick and easy.

Overall it was exactly what I expected, I had no real issues involving the accommodations. I did have a problem with smokers deciding to stand close to my bedroom window, however my complaints were taken seriously and I did get an offer to change rooms.
